Your privacy is fundamental to how we build MajestyManager ("we", "us", "our"). Operated by MajestyNodes, MajestyManager is designed with privacy-by-default and minimal data collection principles. This Privacy Policy outlines what information our Discord Bot application and Web Dashboard (majestymanager.me) collect, why we collect it, how it is secured, and your rights to access or delete your data.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the technical Discord metadata necessary to execute the features you explicitly enable. We do not harvest, track, or inspect general chat messages in your server.
A. Server & Channel Metadata
Discord Guild IDs, Channel IDs, Role IDs, and Category IDs. Used solely to store your server configuration (e.g., ticket categories, alert channels, staff roles, and logging destinations).
B. User Identity & Permission Data
Discord User IDs, Usernames, and Avatars. Used to authenticate staff on the web dashboard, verify server administrator permissions via Discord OAuth2, manage ticket authorship, and record giveaway entries.
C. Ticket Transcripts (Explicit Interaction Only)
When a support ticket is closed by staff or a user, messages sent specifically inside that private ticket channel may be archived into an encrypted HTML transcript file for staff audit records if enabled by the server administrators.
D. OAuth2 Tokens
When logging into the Web Dashboard via Discord OAuth2, access and refresh tokens are stored exclusively to check your server administrator privileges. All OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM.
2. How We Use Collected Data
All collected data is utilized exclusively for the operational functionality of MajestyManager:
- Routing tickets to the appropriate Discord categories and notifying assigned staff roles.
- Displaying authorized servers on the Web Dashboard based on your Discord permissions.
- Enforcing server-configured AutoMod rules (such as blocking scam links, excessive mentions, and spam bursts).
- Tracking invite sources to prevent alt accounts and display accurate invite leaderboards.
- Selecting provably fair winners in community giveaways.
3. Data Sharing & Third-Party Disclosure
We do NOT sell, rent, monetize, or trade any user or server data to third parties, advertisers, or data brokers under any circumstances.
Data is only processed through our own secure server instances and trusted infrastructure providers (such as Supabase for database storage and Discord Inc. via official APIs). We will never disclose data to external parties unless legally mandated by a binding court order or valid subpoena.
4. Data Security & Storage Standards
We take rigorous technical and organizational measures to protect your information:
- Encryption in Transit: All HTTP traffic to the dashboard and API is encrypted via modern TLS/SSL protocols.
- Encryption at Rest: Sensitive credentials, OAuth secrets, and API keys are hashed with Argon2id or encrypted with AES-256-GCM before database storage.
- Network Isolation: Internal services (bot, API, worker, Redis) communicate over an isolated Docker network not exposed to the public internet.
- Enterprise Hosting: Hosted on high-performance MajestyNodes cloud infrastructure with active DDoS mitigation and intrusion detection.
5. Data Retention & Lifespan
We retain data only as long as necessary to provide service:
- Server Configurations: Stored while the bot remains in your server. If the bot is removed, server configs become inactive and are eligible for scheduled purging.
- Ticket Transcripts: Retained for the duration configured by the server administrators or until manually purged by server staff.
- Temporary Caches: Redis permission and invite caches expire automatically within minutes to hours.
6. Your Rights & Data Deletion Requests
Under the Discord Developer Policy and global privacy regulations (including GDPR and CCPA), you have the right to request access to or deletion of your personal data.
How to Request Data Deletion
To request the complete deletion of your user records or your entire server configuration:
- Send an email to [email protected] or [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
- Include your Discord User ID and/or Guild ID.
- Alternatively, open a ticket in our official Discord community (discord.gg/k9t2NqNd9T).
All verified deletion requests are permanently fulfilled within 14 business days.
